Interact is the professional IoT-enabled connected lighting brand from Signify (formerly Philips Lighting). It provides a suite of software applications and hardware designed to manage, monitor, and control connected lighting systems for businesses and smart cities.
An Interact system typically consists of three integrated layers:
- Hardware: Includes "Interact Ready" LED luminaires (from Philips or Color Kinetics), wireless sensors (occupancy, daylight harvesting), and switches.
- Software: A cloud-based IoT platform that offers dashboards for lighting management, energy optimization, and data visualization.
- Services: Optional lifecycle services from Signify, such as system design, remote maintenance, and "Light-as-a-Service"
